Your questions answered
Most customers have 3 pieces of network equipment. The POE Adapter, which is a small black or white box, about the size of a deck of cards, with a big “U” shape on it. Also, most customers have a Wireless Access Point (WAP) which is used to connect to the Wi-Fi, if you received yours from Advantage WISP that looks like either a small white box, or a flat white dish. Lastly, there’s the radio, usually that’s on your roof, you won’t be required to adjust that at all.
We will provide you with a Wireless Access Point when we install your internet service, however, if your property is particularly spacious, or has features which inhibit Wi-Fi, we can help. For details on your specific situation, please contact us at (805) 500-8081
